Rod is visiting the New Wine gathering today. As well as joining worship and teaching sessions he will be meeting with Paul Harcourt, National Leader for New Wine United. Pictured is the morning celebration in the main arena, attended by 7,000 people.
On July 15th Rod visit John Keble Church for their summer festival. He preached on John 9:1-9 and 35-41. After the service a family barbeque was enjoyed by all. Rod is pictured here with Simon Rowbory, the incumbent, and his family.
Rod visited Merseyside on 22 July. He preached at St Simon and St Jude Southport in the morning. In the evening, he took a confirmation at St Philemon Toxteth – over 30 people were confirmed, many of them from the local Kurdish and Persian communities. Rod is picture here with many of them.
This meeting was held on 2nd July and was attended by 38 people from churches in Sheffield, Derby, Newcastle, Southwell & Nottingham and York Dioceses – clergy and leadership teams from churches which have passed resolutions and other complementarian clergy. In June and July, Rod will have ordained 5 people as presbyter and 7 as deacon in 6 ordination services all in different dioceses. Rod and Lesley hosted a barbeque for some clergy families, from resolution churches within easy travel distance. The photograph shows the entertainer holding the children’s attention.
Rod Thomas attended GAFCON 2018 in Jerusalem from 17-23 June.
